King Kallus Aulani, Sixth Oracle of Shadows and Steward of the North
Born in 1962 AS in a small town north of Ljustad, Kallus Aulani led a relatively boring life until the age of 14, when one day he accidentally destroyed his house upon awakening his Oracular Abilities, injuring his family. Scared, they banished him from their small village. He wandered the icy forests of Apollyon until he came upon a weathered and decrepit looking castle. Upon entering and finding it abandoned, he discovered a massive library with a magical door at its center leading to the city of Redgarden. He saw this as a boon from the Gods, and decided to make this place his home. Getting food and work in Redgarden, after a few years he eventually learned more about his Oracular abilities through a chance encounter with Hermod, The Fatebreaker, although Kal was not aware of it at the time (the gods don't really like people to know that they're gods). Hermod, recognizing the telltale tattoos, decided to help the young canid. Teaching him magic, Kal became close with Drow god over the next few years, before parting ways at the age of 28. Upon returning to Apollyon, he travelled to Ljustad in search of an artifact Hermod had mentioned: The Crown of Vaka. As he entered the city, he was refused service at every establishment, although many offered remorseful glances and the Mad King's Guard patrolled the streets. Bristling after a few too many drinks and insults, he pushes a man to the ground right in front of the guards. Immediately, he is brutally beaten and arrested. In prison, he soon meets Djin and realizes that he is also an Oracle. They make a plan to escape with several other inmates, and blow a hole in the wall of the prison. They are quickly accosted by guards, buy Djin and Kal hold them off as the other prisoners get out. The Oracles get out, and suddenly find themselves in the middle of a full blown Revolution. Thus began the Apollyonic Civil War. WIth Kal and Djin at the head, the Revolutionists see many victories, ultimately leading to the battle with and defeat of The Mad King Betrand Dwendal at the hands of the Oracle of the Dark. Taking the Crown of Vaka from the dead king, Kal became King Kallus Aulani, Sixth Oracle of the Dark and Steward of the North.

History
After nearly dying at the hands of Thordak Cinder, Kal and Djin were the only ones left on the snowy battlefield. Dragging themselves into the nearest tree cover, they huddled together in the snow and hoped not to die. One thing led to another, and they decided their lives had been better together than apart, so why not? Married after the defeat of The Mad King in 1989AS, they have ruled New Apollyon together ever since
