During the Dark Age of Valakadyn, Heimdall fought on the side of the Creators, but attempted many times to peacefully appeal to the Betrayer Gods. Secretly in love with Aegir, he confessed his love and successfully convinced Aegir to help the Creators, but too late. They fought together to attempt to stop the Ritual, but were ultimately defeated by Ergeaux Lyon, The Oracle of Illusion. After the Sundering, they set out to honor Vaka's dying wish: protect mortalkind. Thus, they sail the Great Ocean of Valakadyn helping any mortal in need. Legends state that in times of mortal peril at sea, if you call upon the Ocean's Judge, a deep fog rolls in, and the massive Krakensbane ship magically appears, whisking the would-be shipwrecked to safety.
