Karnatis is born in the now destroyed lands of the Sundered Isles.
The Team of Many Things.... that could go wrong.
Karnatis is born in the now destroyed lands of the Sundered Isles.
Vaka, after years of observing Mortalkind, has grown to love her childrens creations. The Mortals fascinated her, and she frequently helped them erect their cities and build bridges (both literally and figuratively). She grew close with a group of Mortals known as the Oracular Order; worshippers of the Creators and servants of the people. She decided to bless the Oracles as she had blessed the gods, giving them eternal life and unmatched power over an aspect of reality. The Oracles swore an oath to protect Mortality at all costs, and intensely studied their respective crafts.
Together, the Oracles traveled and mastered their elements, before returning to their creator and mentor. Together with Vaka, they used their combined knowledge and power to create the first great city, Newbiggin, as a haven for all of mortalkind. And at the center of the city: a massive library filled with all of the knowledge of the Oracles, open to all.
The Betrayer Gods, resenting the power granted to the Oracles by Vaka, attempt to siphon the power from Lilith, First Oracle of Flame. This results in her death, the creation of Eldhress, and the beginning of a war in her name.
The Creators, led by Odin and joined by several Oracles, fought the Betrayers, led by Njord. Their battle resulted in the partial destruction of the continent of Sandalphor, as well as the death of Radahn, The Starscourge, First Oracle of Gravity. This desecration created the Sundered Isles of Sandalphor that now dot the Great Ocean between Sandalphor, Adar, and Karavala.
Vaka, sensing her impending doom, split fractions of her soul into nine magical items and bestowed them upon her most trusted Oracles with the instruction to only unite them together if the time is right, and to protect mortalkind.
The god of Wild Magic, Vaka, is killed by Karnatis Seradz, The Oracle of Time, resulting in the creation of the structure known as Redgarden.
The party stumbles upon a portal that leads them into the past alongside Ergeaux, where they meet three interesting figures; Thrivas Foxgard, Fifth Oracle of Battle, wielding the long missing Belt of Vaka, Mara Magnolia, First Oracle of Souls, the original wielder of the Bracers of Vaka, and Mariposa Karavala, Third Oracle of Gravity, current ruler of the Karavala Sovereignty. Together, after a brief musical interruption, they seek to uncover the source of the curse plaguing the Barrens. After battling the World Serpent and freeing him of the goddess Hel, The Inevitable End's control, the Team returned with Mariposa to Khomartum, where they watched in horror as Mariposa chose to change the future....
Thrivas Foxgard, FIfth Oracle of Battle, uses the Exalted power of the Belt of Vaka . In a moment of desperation, he created a dark mountain that rose out of the ground. As he stands at the foot, he claps his hands together and the mountain cracks open, revealing an entire city magically carved into the underside of the massive structure.
The greatest battle of the Age of Mortality. Ikki Windfeather unites five Oracles in order to defeat the leaders of the Karavala Sovereignty that have been conquering and destroying the continent of Gleyari. Lasting nearly three days, the battle ultimately ends when Toshinori Yagi, Seventh Oracle of Peace sacrifices himself in a magical blast that destroys the Karavalas and Odr, wounds Sif, and sends Njord, the leader of the Betrayers, back to his domain in Sandalphor.

The party meets the Oracle rulers of New Apollyon, Kallus Aulani and Djin Aster. The Oracles ask them for assistance in restoring power to the castle's magical barrier, in exchange for passage up the mountain.
The Team of Many Things meets the Allfather, Odin. He tells them of the birth of the world and the cataclysm that occurred when Vaka fell. He implores them to retrieve the Artifacts before the Betrayer Gods do, even though he remains unsure of what they are planning to do with them.
Ullr, God of Winter and Betrayer God, attacks Mavella in an attempt to retrieve the Crown of Vaka from it's current wielder, King Kallus Aulani. He is ultimately defeated by the Team of Many Things with the assistance of the Oracle of the Heavens, saving the city, as well as Kal's life.
The Team of Many Things leaves Mavella, accompanied by the Oracle of the Heavens, Djin Aster, as they head towards the capital of the Kingdom of Adar, Redgarden, on their mission to locate the remaining six Artifacts of Vaka.
After being imprisoned by pirates, three adventurers assist their rescuers in escaping and decide to join the party,

The Celestial Oracles (Sun and Moon) are chosen during the Alectan new moon through a week long tournament that tests the contestants physical, magical, and tactical abilities. Occurs every 100 years, ten years before Alecto completes it's orbit around Valakadyn. While The Team of Many Things is busy defeating Strahd von Zarovich, The Dread Lord, the newly freed Njord leads the Betrayers towards Aetheria to claim the Shroud of Vaka from the heart of the city. As Sif claims the Shroud for herself, the magic keeping Aetheria aloft is dispelled, gradually sending the city to its doom. As the Team returns, they are confronted by Penelope, who is revealed to have been a Betrayer since she was 21. She begs them to see this from her perspective as Njord threatens the party. The Team is evacuated by the extraplanar shopkeep Gob, as Aetheria falls, crashing at the foot of Norður, The First Sister.
