The Synod is the newest of the great Orders of Ur.

Culture

The Synod was recently instated as a formal Order following the battle and defeat of He Who Reigns. Recognizing the bravery and sacrifice the Catacombs Guard and the Fearless Apostle displayed in the fight, and the commitment of the Catacombs residents to sheltering refugees from other areas of the city, the Grand Masters chose to create the Synod as the ninth great Order. 
The genesis of the order stems from the Catacombs Conclave that formed to train and direct the Catacombs Guard and rebuff the Dogma and the rule of the Orders upon the Catacombs residents, believing them corrupt and unfair in the actions.

Public Agenda

The Synod is dedicated to ensuring fair justice is available to all in Ur as well maintaining the worship of the Aetheric deities. They assist in maintaining shrines in the Catacombs and Synod members are involved in Ur's justice system as investigators.
