Cidon
The Force of Beginnings
And thus it was that unto Cidon, the chief most of the Forces whom Solun had chosen to rule in his stead on Unorrea, was given the power of renewal, and yea it was even said that his life and every day in it was a new beginning. Time began with him, and with his wife Xutosi it will end. But, therefore, in and through him was created the sky and the sun and therefore day and time were also created by him.Creations 2:1
Commonly referred to as the King of the Gods, Cidon is the foremost among the Forces of Creation, and somewhat appropriately he is the Force of Beginnings. Furthermore, as the creation process began with him, time also falls under his influence.
Divine Domains
Cidon, the foremost of the Forces and the first created by Solun, was the first to begin the creative process that formed Unorrea. As such his realm of influence the beginning, not just of time (though that is certainly included) but all beginnings. In fact one would not be wrong in assuming that every rite, ceremony, ritual or event that occurs within the realm at least begins with him and at least some recognition of that is given.
As the sun and the sky are his creations, Cidon is strongly affiliated with their imagery, specifically the sun. In fact throughout the realm the sun has become the symbol of many things, not just light and life but time as well on account of its association with Cidon. In more contemporary religious teachings Cidon is also largely referred to as the god of the day, or of daylight. Thus the daytime and all that happens under its purview falls under Cidon's influence and domain. This makes Cidon the most powerful and influential of all of the Forces of Creation.

Tenets of Faith
As the daylight and everything that happens within it is the realm of Cidon, almost every person on earth begins the day with a quiet prayer to him, even if they are not ardent followers of his tenets. Priests of Cidon hold prayer and offering services every morning before the sunrises and the ceremonies carry into the dawn and should the sun rise clear and with blue sky, it is said the ceremony and the offerings given were approved by Cidon; but if the morning should begin with overcast and storms then Cidon has rejected the offerings.
Temples to Cidon are very common, almost every city has one. Unlike the other Forces of Creation, Cidon has very few cities dedicated to him. Aside from the Luminar, the City of Light, there are perhaps less than a handful of other settlements dedicated to you. Yet so profound and ubiquitous is Cidon's influence, that nearly every major settlement in the world has a temple dedicated to him; and even in some of the smaller settlements with chapels dedicated to other Forces, Cidon will have a small shrine in his name.
Temples of Cidon are usually constructed in similar manner, with Antechambers decorated with sculptures and artwork with motifs of justice, light and glory. Beyond the antechamber is a solarium with the Altar to Cidon where offerings can be made and prayers heard. Before being allowed to enter the solarium, followers must submit to a number of spells by priests intended to prove the supplicant a devotee of all that is good and not a false pretender.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Traditional teachings tell us that as a result of Maferath's corruption, wars and destruction Solun turned his back on Unorrea and mortality believing it to be in a permanent failed state where wickedness reigns. We know to be further from the truth, while there may be profound wickedness and evil in this realm, there is also magnanimous heroes and forces of light that rise to meet it. While all of the Forces' underlying goal is to redeem Unorrea in Solun's eyes, Cidon feels this desire stronger and more consuming than any of the other Forces of Creation. He seeks to show Solun that Unorrea has in fact been redeemed, that Maferath has been destroyed and will never return so that Solun's light and vision can return to Unorrea.
This means that Cidon's goals always align with doing the right thing and supporting goodness in every way he can. Saving lives, stamping out corruption and evil wherever he can to prove to Solun that Unorrea has been redeemed and is worthy of his attention. Therefore Cidon also supports and empowers any mortals who's goals align with his, anyone committed to spreading goodness and light throughout the realm call themselves friends of Cidon.
Cidon has been using his prodigious influence over the day to stamp out evil and drive away darkness for thousands of years. This has caused him to slide into the role of Judge and Arbiter of the Forces. While it is Solun who will judge each person's soul and decide where they spend eternity, Cidon is considered the judge of the Forces and arbitrates any disagreements between them.
Finally, Cidon's desire to redeem Unorrea in Solun's eyes has caused his tenets to be strongly affiliated with redemption and forgiveness. Cidon has likewise adopted this attitude and he sees more value in redeeming darkness from its ways versus stamping darkness out wherever it can be found. This said, he is also pragmatic, and understand that some and perhaps even most evil doers will have no interest in redemption and forgiveness, but Cidon finds value in at least trying. Should the olive branch be rejected, the sword is an appropriate response as far as he is concerned.
