Advent 1:1-10
1. There is not one universe, there is a multiverse, Throughout which there are worlds without number or organization, all bound within the great wheel which turns through time since time immemorial, and forever spins encompassing all the worlds in which mortals dwell.
2. And in the beginning there was nothing, yea, a great nothingness without life or purpose, and Solun the Creator looked upon this void and saw potential and thus he designed to make upon this void his work.
3. And verily Solun saw this void and beheld his vision for all its glory, and was filled with a great and harrowing sorrow, for he delighted in his creation, but he had not one to share it with and thusly the light of that creation was darkened.
4. And it came to pass that Solun set about creating first his first children, and they were mighty and powerful, more alike him than Man, Elf or Dwarf could ever be. And they were forever known by those that knew them as the Forces, for verily they are, were and forever shall be the Forces of Creation to whose will this world bends and obeys.
5. And it came to pass that Solun showed unto the Forces his divine vision of a world of beauty and design. And they rejoiced in his vision for it was indeed beautiful.
6. But there was one among them who was called Maferath, who is known this day to be Maferath the destroyer, who looked upon his master's vision with envy. For he desired the creation to be his, and he desired above all the glory to be his as well.
7. And having beheld the vision of Solun, taken in by it's majesty the Forces of Creation descended into the void and reached out into the elemental planes drawing the power from therein and formed that great world. Or rather, this world and it was called Unorrea, or again, this Realm in which we live is called Unorrea.
8. And Solun looked upon the creation of his Forces and saw that it was good, and delighted in their creation. And he saw that it was not an exact representation of his vision, for verily each of the Forces had wrought the vision of Solun to their own understanding and memory and while it was not the same as Solun’s vision, it was not unlike it in its entirety. And Solun delighted in the differences and the similarities of Unorrea, and he saw that it was good.
9. But verily, Maferath looked upon the works of his brethren and he was an angered. For he desired all things to be according to his will, and not that of Solun. And so he set about in secret to corrupt all things upon the face of Unorrea and make them unto his wicked and tortured desires. And thus was the world darkened and scarred and filled with all manner of pain, sorrow and evil.
10. And Solun saw this, and he was wroth, but verily he stopped it not, for it will be shown among the children of Solun that all works performed in the Realms have a purpose and good or evil they will all be made to serve Solun in the end.
Advent 3:5-9
5. And having counseled with his Forces, Solun sought the creation of mortals to populate Unorrea, and find joy therein, tilling the earth and forming it to their own will over time.
And the Forces saw this plan that it was good, and rejoiced therein.
6. But it came to pass they also feared for the lives of their mortal brethren, for they new that Maferath their brother would see this work that Solun had created and would corrupt it and fill it with evil and make afraid those that should otherwise find joy in the embrace of the Creator.
7. And thusly they petitioned of their master that they might descend to the world preparatory to the advent of mortality and protect the world, their creations and the children of Solun from the machinations of Maferath.
8. And Solun saw that this was good, but verily he wept and was filled with sorrow for the wickedness of Maferath.
9. And thusly, the Forces of Creation descended to Unorrea, and took up their places in the places of their Creations, that they might watch over the children of Solun from all corners of the earth and care for them and protect them from the evils of Maferath the Destroyer.
Advent 4:1-4
1. And lo, thus were mortals introduced into Unorrea in the Dawn of Time, first the Elves, then the Dwarves, then Men. And each were given the Gift of Solun, which is to say the Gift of Creation. And each created works according to their wills and personalities.
2. And it came to pass that Dwarves built mighty crafts of stone and ore, and they marveled in the gifts of the Creator and honored him in all of their designs.
3. And lo, the Elves constructed beautiful arts and intricate spells, for their talents were set towards the finer things of detail and beauty.
4. And thusly to Men it was left the Gift of expansion. For they constructed mighty cities and Kingdoms and shaped the world to their own design, more so than any other race did they remake Unorrea in their own design.
5. And Solun saw the works of his children and was filled with great pride, so much so that the world blossomed and was filled with color and all the beauty of nature.
Creations 1:1-3
1. And now, having descended into the void with the desires to form the world that Solun had showed unto them, each of the Forces began to collect the prime materials of the world from the planes of the elements and formed unto themselves a world.
2. And each of the Forces, for verily there were twelve, brought about the work of their master according to their own understanding of his plan. For verily, even at this time in the Dawn of Time when the days of the Forces was not yet many, they each had grown to understand their master in their own way according to their personalities and beings.
3. And thus the vision of Solun was created, and also diversified for it was formed by twelve individual creators who sought to please their master in their own way.
Creations 2:1-16
1. And thus it was that unto Cidon, the chief most of the Forces whom Solun had chosen to rule in his stead on Unorrea, was given the power of renewal, and yea it was even said that his life and every day in it was a new beginning. Time began with him, and with his wife Xutosi it will end. But, therefore, in and through him was created the sky and the sun and therefore day and time were also created by him.
2. And when the world formed, and daylight came in by the will of Cidon, too also came night. For as he is the beginning, Xutosi, his beloved, is the Force of endings and rest. And so, by her will and understanding of the vision of Solun, so too came the night, and also the stars and the moon in the sky above them, that the children of Solun will never be without his guiding light.
3. And behold, reaching up from the earth is the Creation of Batyx, who is Cidon’s younger brother and truest friend. N’er there was a more perfect embodiment of strength and stability, and to him we all pray that we too might find stability in our lives. And when the world was formed, up from the ground rose his interpretation of the vision of Solun, which are and have been majestic mountains spread throughout the earth. And yea, verily he is to this day found in any of those mountain ranges that reach high unto the sky.
4. And there he rules over his domain with his sister, Disoi who, so inspired by the majesty of her brother’s creation, wove into existence the Forces of Chaos by which mortals can use magic. She is most loved by the Elves, for they see magic in all the world around them.
5. Then, Teldir, there was, being called the God of life and growth, for in him was the ambition to always be more than he was and to progress through the eternities. And his Creation was the plains that stretch ever forth and provide bountiful soil from which the children of Solun may harvest fruits and grains of every kind that they too may grow strong and full of life.
6. But in his sister, Yldia, was death, for she knew that all beauty must ever be temporary or it shall no longer be considered beautiful. And this thought filled her with a deep and profound sadness, and she wept. Whithersoever her tears fell, there also became death and wrought into the world deserts and wastelands. But she is compassionate as well and seeks to keep the children of Solun from her pain, and so they come to her in times of grief and over loss of loved ones and they are comforted.
7. Then also came Felios, whose soul was most anxious to bring about the vision of Solun. For in his soul and his most deepest desires were the wellsprings of adventure and the desire to uncover mystery. And with his influence came about the forest, jungles and deep woods of our world. Forever is his mystery beckoning to the children of Solun, and since time immemorial adventures have begun or ended in the depths of his wood.
8. And verily, it came to pass that his wife, a Force of exceptional cunning, viewed the Creation of her husband and sought further to give personality to his Creation. And by her will came the animals of the world, both beast and foul ever representing her free spirit and love of nature. And by her will came into being the most majestic of creatures, which is the Dragons of Metallic origins, who love her most and exist to help humanity experience the freedom of Nirana, their master.
9. But in those days there was much earth, and many deep and dark places. But there was no life, and Edall, the eldest of the Forces, sought wisdom in providing the life force to the children of Solun and as such, by his command, water was made to flow from every corner of the earth and pool in large oceans. But wrothful is he that Cidon, his younger brother, was made leader of the Forces. And so his soul is that of trickery and mischief, for ever have sailors bent to his will when traveling and honored him in their deeds, but never have they trusted him for many have perished by his hands and the deep is the sea that is their tomb.
10. Then came unto the world Aqris, the wife of Teldir who saw the trickery in the ocean, yea that it was great water but could provide no life from its bitter taste. And so she created the rivers, streams and lakes of the world. And unto her is the domain of consistency, loyalty and dependability for ever does water flow and bring life whithersoever it goes.
11. And thusly, looking upon a world that was near to formed, Ibus, the youngest of the Forces and his wife Numera filled the void with substance, change and such things intangible as promises and misfortune. For by Ibus came into being the deep earth, with its myriad tunnels, precious metals and glittering stones. Unto him belongs all the wealth of the world, though he freely shares it with the children of Solun. And he is most loved by the Dwarves, with their fine craftsmanship do they honor him and as such are rewarded with jewels and many fine gifts.
12. But Numera felt deep inside her an instability, and a need for things to be new. Though she loved her husband she could not abide one place for too long, and so she moved from hither to thither. And wheresoever she went there storms raged and flowers blossomed and trees bloomed, but whithersoever she left, alas there the plants mourned for her loss and the air grew cold and dark and thus did they die. Thereby began the seasons, for the only consistency in Numera is that she will always be the Goddess of Change.
13. And so it was that the world was formed after the vision of Solun by twelve distinct personalities. And Solun looked upon the earth that was called Unorrea and saw that it was different than his original vision, but not unharmonious to it. And so he found it good, and blessed it therein with Light. For such is his creation, within all things good is a piece of Solun and forever shall his light be over the world.
14. But wroth was Maferath at the Creations of the Forces, and thusly he set about corrupting and destroying the Creations of his brethren. And so with the sky came clouds, and the mountains volcanoes, and the Plains came hard untillable soil, and with the forests came rot and dark spirits who take adventurers and silence their mysteries. And too with the ocean came leviathans and other monsters of the deep, and beneath the earth are dark and demonic things that only bring horror to the children of Solun.
15. And it came to pass that with Night came terror and fear, and with Magic came the black arts which the Drow use to murder and kill to this day. With deserts and wilderness came mirages, traps to lure those hopeless souls to their demise, and so too came swamps of rivers, the chromatic dragons of wicked intent to the animal kingdom, and tornadoes and hurricanes and other storms whose purpose is to destroy instead of giving life.
16. And over all, in contrast to light came shadow and evil. And thus it was in the Dawn of Time that Maferath in his greed became the Destroyer.
Conflagrations 9:1-4
1. And for many more centuries did the mortals of the world and the Forces of Creation fight in bitter war with Maferath the destroyer, and many more did they fight. And the Forces of Creation walked the surface of the world in these days and fought alongside the mortals of the earth.
2. And it came to pass that Maferath too raised creations from the earth, of wicked souls filled with a lust for blood and sought only to please their creator and destroy the children of Solun. And thus came about Giants and Orcs and Goblins and many other servants of evil into the world. And he corrupted many more, and thereby came the Drow and Duergar into the world of mortals.
3. And thus were the beginning days of mortals upon the earth filled with bloodshed, death and sorrow. And many were the battles between good and evil, and thus were many of the children of Solun’s hearts turned to evil. And they were corrupted by Maferath and made to serve him.
4. And the souls of Maferath’s most profound servants, yea those great and powerful mages and heros whose hearts he had turned, Maferath wrought upon them a terrible work and twisted and mutilated their souls until they became monsters of shadow, masters of evil and devourers of mortals. Thus came into the world the Balor, the demons of the old world who live forever and haunt and torture the children of Solun.
Conflagrations 10:1-2, 7-8
1. And having seen the destruction that Maferath had wrought upon the world, Solun wept, and was filled with wrath like none the world or worlds had ever seen, nor will ever see again. And thusly Solun retreated from Unorrea, for if he remained surely he would reach out with all of his wrath and the face of the earth would be destroyed.
2. Thusly the Children of Solun were separated from their creator, and the Forces from their master and Maferath was filled with pride for he believed he had won victory over the whole of Unorrea. But verily, all will know in the end times that all things happen according to the will of Solun and all things will be made in the end to serve him.
...
7. And Verily, having believed to control the earth since the departure of Solun, Maferath began to bring about the work of destruction upon the children of Solun with renewed vigor, and many would die and these times would be known as the Age of Blood, for surely the whole of the earth was covered and watered by the blood of the children of Solun and their adversaries.
8. And thusly, having felt the loss of Solun most terribly, and seeing the death and destruction the powers of evil were bringing about on their chosen charges, the Forces of Creation felt a great and collective terror and fled, each, into their own Creations. And thus, the children of Solun were left alone in the world of Maferath.
Conjunctions 1:1
1. And it came to pass that there came a great and terrible alignment of all the planes of the multiverse. And Maferath, having conquered the world and shrouded it in darkness, sought further to corrupt or bend Solun’s will and thus, with all of his might he wrought a great conjunction of the planes and thus entered into Unorrea Halflings, and Gnomes and Tabaxi and all manner of mortal creatures for good and evil. And moreover the world was filled with monsters and fiends who further laid destruction and murder to the children of Solun. And the Conjunction tired Maferath, wherefore he was wearied and rested for a season, thinking the world his for all time. And thus again, will the children of Solun see that all things throughout all time will be made to serve him that created it.
Heroes 1:1-6
1. And as the Forces saw that Maferath had rested from his labors of evil, behold Cidon, the foremost of the Forces and steward of Unorrea as dictated by Solun, felt much sorrow for having departed from the children of Solun. And as he had seen that they had survived the wrath of their dark and evil adversary, Cidon desired to again help the mortals break from their bonds.
2. And it came to pass that Cidon held a great council of the Forces, and such shall heretofore be known as the Council of Minoth, for it was held at the peaks of Minoth the highest peak in all the realms and the great throne of Cidon and his rule.
3. And lo, it came to pass that Cidon informed his brethren that he would go unto the children of Solun again and they would make for the destruction of Maferath and rid the world of his evil forever. And the Forces saw this plan, and knew that it was good, but behold, the children of Solun had known the Forces to have abandoned them and therefore they were despised in many corners of the world.
4. Verily Cidon understood this, and proclaimed that he would choose a champion would would wield the power of Cidon on earth and serve as his will upon the world.
5. And thus was Kanan, the greatest fighter in Unorrea, and a righteous man of much faith chosen as the first Avatar of Creation.
6. And thus began the time which shall heretofore be known as the Age of Heroes.
Heroes 7:19-24
19. And thusly, along with the other Avatars of Creation, Kanan traveled the world while Maferath rested. And with the power of Cidon he raised armies and brought about a great slaughter upon the servants of evil and slew many of the Balor inasmuch as the remaining Balor fled the mortal plane and took up their residence in the great emptiness that is called the Infinite Levels of the Abyss.
20. And for many years did Kanan lead the children of Solun from victory to victory, and ever did he show unto them the power of Creation and thusly in all corners of the earth mortals began to again worship and venerate the Forces of Creation.
21. And it came to pass that they were known throughout the world as many things, for unto Elves they were the Wills of Solun, or that is they were called the Wills, and the Dwarves venerated them as Paragons and Men simply knew them as God's. And they were known by many other things, with each people upon Unorrea knowing them as something different. And lo, they were all the same, though differently named by each people, but again they were always, and will always be the Forces of Creation.
22. And after a time Maferath awoke, and saw his kingdom in disarray. And behold he was an angered, and yea his wrath did not match that of Solun, but behold the world shook with great force and storms and great calamities were known all over the earth and the children of Solun were sore afraid for it seemed to them that the very foundations of the world were being torn asunder.
23. And it came to pass that as the Forces beheld the great destruction of Maferath and behold they would abide it no more. And thus It came to pass that again the Forces defended from their Creations and walked again among the children of Solun. And they protected them, and shielded them from the storms, and thus the world was in this state for many generations and many were born, grew old and perished in a season of endless storms and calamity.
24. And at the end of the Age of Storms, Maferath beheld that the Forces, his brethren had again halted his plans and he was filled with sore contempt and he hid before their face and rested for a time, gathering his strength and might.
2nd Conflagrations 1:1-7
1. And the children of Solun prospered for many years, and they began to believe that Maferath had been defeated. And it came to pass that Kanan and the first generation of Avatars went the way of all things and passed from this veil into the great beyond and the embrace of the great wheel.
2. And behold, Maferath delighted in the ignorance of mortals, for he had not yet been defeated, and was gathering his strength of evildoers beneath the surface of the earth. And the army was contained of all manner of evil, from drow and duergar to orcs goblins and dragons of a chromatic design.
3. And it came to pass that when the world seemed that it had forgotten Maferath in its entirety, thusly his army surged from the deep and wrought an ocean of blood and death from all ends of Unorrea.
4. But behold, the Forces had not forgotten of their wicked brother, nor had they come to be complacent in their offense towards him. For thus they too had been building their strength, and a new age of Avatars of Creation had been called and thusly when Maferath let lose his army of evil, they quickly found themselves embattled with a great army of light.
5. And thus the world was covered with war, and for three hundred years did the sounds of war ring out in all corners of the earth, and many did die on both sides and dragons and beasts, and mortals and demons all participated and thus it was called the Age of War, or more uncommonly known as the Age of Great and Fatal Destruction. But it would most accurately be called, the Final Age of Maferath the Destroyer.
6. For behold after three centuries of death and destruction and conflagration, the earth had been scarred and never again would it reveal the beauty of the those first days in the Dawn of Time, but alas the army of evil had been defeated. And after a great and last battle on the northern lands of Aldea, Maferath was afraid for his army had been spent and his power was no longer gathered to contend with the Forces and their Avatars.
7. And thus a great and final duel occurred on the Isles of Doom and thus was Maferath defeated. And he was bound and thrown to the far edge of reason and beyond the limits of the multiverse never to bother the Children of Solun again.
Peace 1:1-4
1. And thus a time of peace persisted throughout all the lands of Unorrea. And there was a great celebration from all ends of the earth and never again would there be such great celebrating.
2. And behold, the Forces’ power was spent and they could no longer walk among the children of Solun for any length of time. And thusly they retired to their Creations and there they dwell to this day, ever watchful of Unorrea and awaiting a time when their return is most needed.
3. But nevertheless they always feared for the safety of mortality, and thus they continued to choose avatars, unto each one of their own choosing, to represent their might on Unorrea. But alas after many centuries of peace, without any unified threat from evil, the Avatars too passed into realms unknown, and if any are still called to this day we know not whither they travel.
4. And thus began the Age of Peace, and so it remains to this day and ever after, until such a time as Solun returns and begins the Age of Light. And so it shall be, amen.
