Disoi
Force of Chaos
And there [Batyx] rules over his domain with his sister, Disoi who, so inspired by the majesty of her brother’s creation, wove into existence the Forces of Chaos by which mortals can use magic. She is most loved by the Elves, for they see magic in all the world around them.Creations 2:4
The sister of Batyx, Disoi is the Goddess of the Arcane and particularly venerated by the Elves. Her creation is Magic itself. While little is known of exactly show she created it to the physical manifestation that serves as the source of Magic in the world, the Forces of Chaos are hers to bend and control and ancient myths say it was she who first instructed the elves in the use of magic.
Divine Domains
Without a physical creation like the other Forces, Disoi's influence is most largely focused around the Elves, pricipally the Elven kingdom of Nemelia and the indigenous tribes of the Shattered Islands. Elven culture is very centralized around magic and as a result they almost exclusively venerate Disoi over the other Forces. This should not be understood to think that Elves only worship Disoi, but this is not further from the truth, Disou just happens to be ubiquitously preferred throughout elven culture. Disoi's iconography and visage is a common appearance in Elven architecture, as does the eagle appear quite often in their art and architecture.
As the god of magic and the arcane, Disoi is also quite often worshiped by Mages, and most towers of the The Conclave Arcanus have a chapel dedicated to her within the tower or on it's property and many of their lodges will feature tasteful shrines to her as well. Most if not all meetings of the Conclave also will begin with a dedicatory prayer to her to ensure safe use of magic as well.
As Magic is largely a progressive science where students of the Arcane pass through thresholds slowing increasing their knowledge and growth. As a result, temples dedicated to Disoi are usually partitioned into various chambers where acolytes progress through the tenets of faith gaining greater light and knowledge until they reach the final chamber where it is believed they are allotted greater understanding of the unknown. Interestingly enough, Disoi's temples also have a sublevel that serves as an alchemy lab and shop where priests of Disoi carry out enchantments and magical experiments.

Tenets of Faith
Disoi's tenets of faith are very faithless in comparison to the tenets of other Forces. Indeed, she encourages constant questioning and probing to find truth over than of blind folded fear. Much of the rites and rituals regarding belief in Disois seem far more scientific in nature that faithful, and she and her followers prefer it that way. Priests of Disoi, during gathering and prayer meetings often undergo several regimented steps and phases of worship before opening the meeting to the interpretations of the spirit and the desires of the crowd. While this upsets many more faithful members of other congregations, Disoi's followers find peace in repetition, rules, order and ritualistic methods.
Priests, mages, sorcerers, scholars and the deep thinkers of the realm count themselves among Disoi's most devout followers. However, none of her disciples are more pronounced than the Dragons. Though they are the creations of another Force, being beings of near pure magic most Dragon's count themselves among Disoi's patronage.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Magic, as the elves and the Conclave see it, is the great mystery and to study it is a singular calling to which one can dedicate their entire life to. Disoi supports all scholars and academics, but in particular those who have dedicated themselves to studying great mysteries and uncovering unknown lore. These scholars include archaeologists, museum curators, scientists and more.
Disoi is also, unlike most of the other Forces, very conscious of the potential dangers that her creation represents to the children of Solun. None more so than the millions of magical items scattered throughout the realm that require next to no skill or dedication to use; many of which can become instruments of destruction in the wrong hands. As a result, she has spent much of the last millennia using her influence to collect, store and protect the various magical items that have been created since the Dawn of Time. Contrary to common belief, she does not want these items destroyed, only secured to ensure that they are not misused.
Disoi is dedicated tot he teaching and instruction of Magic, and when she appears to mortality it is usually to serve those ends. She truly believes that hers is one of, if not the most useful creation for the Children of Solun and she supports all who work tirelessly to further mortality's understanding of practical magic in the service of good.

Earning and Losing Piety
You can increase your piety score with Batyx by increasing her influence throughout the world in concrete ways through acts such as:
- Recovering magic items from evil doers.
- Spending downtime to craft new spells and incantations, or to research the unknown
- Defending a magical institution such as a Conclave Lodge, Tower or a temple/chapel dedicated to Disoi.
- Learning or recovering ancient lore, specifically that which improves the lives of mortals or increases their understanding of magic
Your piety to Disoi decreases when you diminish her influence throughout the world, contradict her ideals, or undermine her magical influence in Unorrea through actions such as:
- Stealing a Magical item for personal gain
- Careless treatment of magical artifacts such as losing it, leaving it in unsecured places or selling it on an open market where you do not know who's hands it might end up in
- Destorying magical artifacts for any reason other than a last ditch effort to keep it out of the hands of evil
- Abusing magic such as using it to oppress, harm or endanger innocents and/or reckless use of magic that senselessly endangers your allies or places them in harms way
