History

Tana's Great Reunion

Lord Daval Windrin was a minor noble, dispossessed and without backing, who came from the north. He came from one of the most mountainous and obscure regions of what is now known as Tana's empire after his tiny domain had been destroyed. He and a handful of his close family traveled by foot — no mounts, not even any servants or guards — to join the human's army. Although no one had heard of him prior to five years before Tana's Great Reunion, Windrin claimed many lands, and played an important role in the war. He fought for the position of Emperor he was defeated, and Tana's family accessed the throne. After this failure to access the throne, Lord Daval Windrin vanished under unusual circumstances, with his chateau abandoned and his servants gone, the name Windrin was almost forgotten. A young man, speculated back then to be the bastard son of Lord Daval Windrin took the title, and prevented the family name from being extinguished.

Recent history

The duchy of High Zephyr is one of the most influential one, and its rulership is contested by multiple noble families, including the Von Verurteilung family who almost gained rulership during the last decades. However, the marriage of Camelia Windrin Tana with Charle III Tana strengthened the windrin family and prevented the Von Verurteilung to gain leadership of the duchy.
