With Brightport's centennial approaching, the group plots how to get the book containing Lauren's weakness and how to get to Brightport. They eventually backtrack to the bridge and get the book which lies hidden in a bridge support. After examining the book, a figure approaches. dressed in a ragged dress and focused on the party. Thinking quickly, they teleport the group away from SHE (a demon hunter sent for a specific purpose, in this this case, to destroy anyone near the book and returning it to its owner). The party lands in the middle of the gathered paladins and troops from Esterholt. They find Una and Julie and work out a plan of attack to assault The Black Hand and Brightport.
