Arc 1 - Episode #140

After Dark: Part One

General Summary

We begin this episode with a sultry version of "Lets go around the table..."

As the party continues their journey to Aubrey, they discover the mystery behind the backwards flowing river. A whirlpool spins in the middle of the river, pulling water in from both directions much to the confusion of everyone.

Hours pass, and as nightfall nears, the group finally arrives in town. They find a lone guard standing on the road into Aubrey. Alexandra talks to the group and Aralove and Acteronis volunteer to stand watch with her while Daegon, Braylon and Kalden go to the inn to get some rest.

While standing guard and talking, Aralove notices a lone figure near the road and the three approach. A drow, who through conversation, tells them that he is a vampire as well and would like their help. They take him into an abandoned building and discuss his needs and shortly after, Aralove and Acteronis also retire to the inn.

Daegon and Acteronis spend some quality time together cleaning Acteronis' armor and dealing with his scent issue while listening to some smooth jazz...

The next morning the party makes their way to the Temple of Aumonator where they meet Father White who offers them some help in their coming fight against the Half-Orc vampire in the form of the Orb of Light and the Staff of Unwavering Light.

Next episode, we will see who gets which item, but Darkcord from the forums has some ideas.
