Personal history
Porscil was born of an Earth Primordial, energy combining with the plains of the Demon Realm. As such, he began life walking - no destination in mind, simply enjoying the journey. He took on many forms to do so - able to shift between animal, plant, and person with ease. He is the deity most well-known for interacting with demonkind, walking their world as he often does.
To pass the long hours of travel, Porscil learned to tell stories - true stories, false stories, stories somewhere in between... all that mattered was that the stories entertained. He enjoyed sharing these stories with mortals, and found it particularly amusing when a false story was seen as true or a true story seen as false. His non-malicious penchant for trying to fool his listeners did, however, lead mortals to harm at times - and so the wisdom of taking a traveler's stories lightly spread.
When the Divine Realm formed, Porscil traveled this plane as well as he had the Demon Realm - and in this way he found the remote domain of Mahen, at the time the Deity of Blacksmithing and Artisans. He regaled cer with many of the tales he had collected over his long eons of walking every time he visited the reclusive star deity. Ce amazed him - for the first time, he found a kindred spirit who cared only for the quality of a story, regardless of its truth.
Or so Porscil thought - until he commented on this feeling to Mahen. Mahen replied that Porscil had never told cer a false story - merely that the truth of some stories was less obvious than others.
Porscil's feelings for Mahen changed then - from friendship to queerplatonic, and Mahen felt very much the same. Between the pair was born a son, Enaroy, who would become the God of Beast Hunters.
