Deity
Beings of immense power, but within the scope of mortal comprehension.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Deities come in all shapes and forms, some static and others shifting like their primordial parents - however, all deities are marked by the Divine Eye upon the forehead. While most take on an appearance similar to the mortals they helped to create, either before the creation or afterward due to the influence of mortal belief.
Genetics and Reproduction
Deities reproduce in a variety of ways - as the children of beings of pure energy, they are not bound by any particular convention.
Growth Rate & Stages
Deities are "born" as fully-formed adults, though they are considered "young" until discovering their first domain.
Ecology and Habitats
Deities survive best in the Divine Realm, which warps around them to suit their needs.

History
As Primordials came into contact with the celestial bodies of the physical realms, their forms fragmented and became metaphysical beings of immense energy.
These are the First Generation of deities - they often became creator deities, crafting the primary mortal inhabitants of the realms their celestial bodies belong in. From them come more generations of deities: Fragment, Created, and Second Generations.
The Fragment Generation of deities are those born from a First deity breaking off a piece of themself which later becomes a new deity. They either share a domain with their parent deity, or take over one of their parent's domains entirely.
The Created Generation of deities are those crafted by one or more deities - similar to the crafting of mortals, but imbued with far more than the small spark of energy given to mortalkin. While they may be created for a specific purpose, which will grant them a domain upon birth, they may also be formed without such intent.
The Second Generation of deities are those born from at least one First Generation deity, and the direct mixing of energy of at least two deities. While this often takes the form of celestial intercourse, it can also occur through different means. These deities often must discover their domains for themselves.
Deities born from two or more Second, Created, or Fragmented deities are Third Generation deities. Many of these are unable to escape the domain of one of their parents due to the lessened amount of undefined energy and never gain acclaim in the physical realms. They often serve as attendants in the Divine Realm, though it is not impossible for them to gain independence.
Lesser deities are those born between two or more Third Generation deities, and, like their predecessors, are usually attendants to the generations above Third.
