Creation of the Nine Original Realms

The deities' influence began to shape the space around their celestial bodies - creating discrete spheres of reality that became known as "realms". These realms formed around only the most powerful of the First Generation deities, numbering nine. Primordials existed freely in the aether around these realms, as they always had, and the deities inhabited the realms of the ten - forming early pantheons of shared energy. For no matter how powerful the Celestial Monarch, it took several primorial energies to maintain a realm - energies they could only get from others.
