The Formation of the Rings

Coming together, the deities were able to create metaphysical rings around their realms - rings they connected to each other, preventing the realms from passing through each other as they once had. While there was now permanent overlap, this mortalkind could understand and contend with. At this stage, only three realms were connected at a time by the deities with the most similar energies and temperaments. This led to the original three Triads - Arcane, Inspired, and Strength.
