The Resolve

Power Generation
The Resolve features an upgraded HIAT HCPS-501 series hydrogen combustion power stack which has been modified for greater cold weather efficiency. It is the only ship of its class to feature such modifications.

Four Hiat CDET-650 Electric Rotor-turbine engines mounted in a twin stack configuration.
Weapons & Armament
The Resolve features two composite alloy 105mm Long range siege artillery cannons. A battery of twelve, 40mm precision medium range auto-loader cannons, and eight 20mm broadside rotary cannons. This configuration is optimized for air to ground combat operations utilizing incendiary, canister, and ground penetrating ammunition.
Resolute cruisers also possess a battery of twelve vertical belly drop cruise missile bays capable of deploying a number of ultra heavy weapons for target acquisition and elimination over the horizon or otherwise beyond visual range. The use of such ordinance requires remote guidance or the presence of a spotter near the target.
Armor and defense
Military grade ballistic composite with modifications for greater thermal insulation against cold weather. These modifications increase the vulnerability of the Resolve to heavy weapons. The Resolve is the only ship in its class to carry such modifications.
Communication Tools & Systems
The Resolve features a more powerful capital class Over-watch up-link suite, enabling effective communications at greater distances than typical military vessels though at the cost of requiring more power to operate.
Sensors
Modified Kanicron optical suite with enhanced navigational suite optimized for flight below mountain level in canyons or deep valleys know to exist in the northern barrier range. Resolve is also equipped with Sarr Industries advanced fire control radar package providing semi-autonomous point defense capability from four of its eight rotary cannons.
Additional & auxiliary systems
Enhanced cold weather heat distribution systems for crew areas and sensitive equipment. This requires the installation of additional steam conduits and internal radiators for effective management of the ships internal climate during far north operations. Includes additional considerations for preventing the freezing of ballast, and managing the storage of cold sensitive munitions, fuel, oil, and electronics for all embarked vehicles.
Hangars & docked vessels
The Resolve is the only ship in its class to feature a drop ship bay mounted rear of its primary weapons deck. This bay is capable of launching and recovering two arrowhead drop ships in the field. The Resolve also possesses the necessary facilities to fully repair, rearm, and refuel said vessels.
