To the rest of the continent of Dagath that are not Black Blooded by nature they both fear and despise them. Many of which have long-standing grudges for the countless death and destruction that were caused by them. This has led them only be hostile when a Black Blood is sighted fearing the possibility of an attack coming to their home. To better ensure such attacks do not cause any significant damage, border settlements are fortified and various contingencies are put in place to ensure a rapid response to repel them. Leading to indefinate high tenses between all parties that make contact with the trbes should they come near them or their territory.

History

Arrival of the Black Tide

There once was a time when the the Black Plains were not under black blood control it had a different name and a different power that ruled over it, a elven kingdom known as Elvares that called it the Golden Plains. That changed when the first Orcs came from the sea and landed on the plains and began there conquest of it. The kingdom of Elvares was quickly overrun by these this savage and strong new force as much of their military was waging war with the Dwarven Mountain Kingdoms in the War of Stone and Wood leaving nothing remaining of the once great kingdom. This allowed the Orcs to continue their march across the continent wiping out any resistance they came across those that survive the their conquest were either enslaved or used as a food supply to feed the ravenous horde of orcs that would be remembered in infamy as the first Black Blood horde once it was discovered there blood was black instead of red. Once they came across the trolls that shared the same blood as theirs they joined forces there knowledge of the The Deep and the rest of the continent aided in their conquest of the Dwarven realm. Along with them interbreeding with each other to bring about the Ogre race to join their ranks in the horde becoming more savage than ever before.   The hordes onslaught lasted for decades as nothing was left standing from their endless numbers. The Dwarves and Elves were pushed back to the brink of extinction by the time they rallied together in the once they realized that the black bloods were too powerful to face alone. The First Black Blood War was too determine the fate of all races on Dageth with all sides fighting with everything they had in the name of victory. But eventually the horde was finally pushed back and dissolved after much infighting with them once their leadership was killed. Leading them to return to the Black plains and settle as their number replenished over time with warbands raided border settlements and clashes becoming commonplace.

Unbound and Unchained

Much of the tribes that roam the Black Plains are nomadic by necessity rather than tradition alone as their lives are governed by the turning of the seasons and the movement of vast herds, which serve as their primary source of food, materials, and trade. To remain in one place for too long is to invite starvation, overhunting, and spiritual imbalance. As a result, permanent settlements are rare, often temporary camps raised only for ritual gatherings or times of hardship, then abandoned once the land has given all it can. This way of life has forged the tribes into a people of remarkable resilience by constantly travel hardens both body and spirit, producing warriors and hunters capable of enduring extremes of weather, hunger, and exhaustion. Compared to the settled nations that border their lands, the plains tribes are quicker to adapt, less reliant on infrastructure, and far harder to break. Where cities fall when supply lines are severed, the nomads simply move, reshaping their lives around what the land still offers.   Each tribe maintains its own customs, taboos, and identity, but nearly all share a belief that leadership must be earned through strength, courage, and proven ability. A chief who cannot protect the tribe or guide it safely through lean seasons will not rule for long with challenges are common, though bound by ritual law, for the orcs believe that only a strong leader can carry the weight of survival for so many lives. Despite shared blood and similar hardships, conflict between tribes is frequent. Raids for honor, resources, or vengeance are accepted facts of plains life, serving both as a means of survival and a way to test worth against rivals. Such clashes rarely aim at annihilation; instead, they reaffirm strength, settle grudges, and remind all involved that survival on the plains belongs to those bold enough to claim it.

Coming of The Hordes

Every now and again the times tribes come to together under one tribe and its leader that have earn their right to gaining their strength in battle and earn their right as Warlord and bring about a Black Blood Horde to go out to wage war against their neighbors. Each Black Blood Horde has left their mark on Dageth and while few and in between each one is as destructive as the last bring destruction and change to the lands they invade. Leading the rest of the continent to ready their militaries to combat them in brutal warfare as the hordes fight aggressively and can adapt when needed as they have no centralized military structure with various tribes fighting independently from each other. This is both a strength and a weakness as a horde can easily dissolve if tribes no longer wish to leave it when they no longer feel obligated to fight in it. But that will often take a while and until that time comes there will be much conflict until that time comes to an end.
