Celestial Species in The Realm of Beardsgaard | World Anvil

Celestial

Celestials are born first of a Water Elemental and God, quite common, as Asgard and Niflheim are neighbors, and Gods can withstand the strength of the elements. Celestials, like Infernals, both have a foot in the mortal world with a Human ancestor as well as an immortal one. They tend to dwell in Asgard or Niflheim, or on islands off the coast, but some have been found in further waters.

Basic Information

Growth Rate & Stages

Celestial age stages take after whichever culture they are raised in, but all things being equal, they lean toward their elven side in this regard. They reach full size around 16 years of age, but are still considered in their youth until the age of 100, at 300 they are usually done with their procreation years, and are considered an elder at 1000 years old and beyond.
Legacy Beings take on traits of each of their parent species. A single God far back in a long line of Water Elementals will make for a present day Celestial with mostly Elemental characteristics.   Choose which of your parent species you take after more, then take the Stats and Prime Traits of that parent species, and the Legacy Trait of the other parent species.
