The Battle of the Modern World

The Battle of the Modern World took place within the castle walls of Falconia. The King Oscar knew that they would not hold the walls as the modern world had spacecraft to fly right over them... The first stage of the battle was Barreth's air force, they were not as strong as the Federation but his fighters were able to disable as much as they could before the real problems developed. The Mech battles were next, the Federation again had an advantage but were not prepared for Barreth to seek a draw rather than a win. Figthers would try to destroy themselves with the Federation which caused them not be properly prepared for this fighting style. After the conflict a few federation ships were left and moved onto the main city within Falconia. The defenders shot most down after taking heavy causualties on their archers. Willar was almost killed but survived.... The next few days were a sea of Federation Modern soldiers charging in with tanks and guns shooting down Barreth's soldiers and Falcon Knights killing thousands.... The battle was bloody and there were causualties on both sides, but the Federation was defeated in a pyrric victory. Tiran was forced to flee to the Modern World to gain more troops to send back to the Old world. Barreth's next move was to pursue them back to the Modern World to Seize control of the council and take back the Modern World.
