Thaeric and the Clan of Raganr, along with a band of mercenaries that agreed to help them, fought valiently against the Goldwynes and Greystones and defeated them in battle. The Greyston eleader was able to escape but the Goldwynes were inprisoned. Edric Goldwyne was executed in front of the people and his brother was put in the dungeon. This promoted the son to be the leader of the Goldwynes who agreed to work with House Valcroft on rebuilding their relationship. Thaddeus also aggred to allow his bastard son to be regent alongside him as he grew in age. He disliked his son as he saw him as a mistake but knew the Millham name must continue.
