The Battle of the Old World

Military: Battle

The battle of the Old World was the largest battle ever seen in the history of the Old World. Thousands fought and died. At first, the battle seemed in the favor of the Morveth who sent their troops in first before the Orc hordes. The Morveth faced the Aetherion in brutal fashion... many died that day... (the guy with beard and axe) died as did (guy with orange hair and double wield). The Morveth began moving in killing and killing until the tides turned. Those trained in modern weaponry Morveth and the Morrak using guns and swords and beat them back... Once the Morveth were badly wounded they called for the warriors of the Chaos... brutes and barbarians alike, they dove in axes in hand and broke the lion knight line. They used their machine guns to rip through lion and noble house banners. The Dragon knights, (who had decided to ally with the Lions) Betrayed them as the fight lingered... the Lions had expected this and were ready to counter with explosives that killed most of the Dragons. The dragon brother who was the backstabber was killed while the other brother begged for peace and was spared. As the the chaos warriors and dragon knights fought with the Lion and Ragnars, the horn blew for the Orcs to appear... the orcs crested the mountain as droves of units spilled into the battlefield. The bodies piled high upon the orcs arrival and it caused there charge to be slow and cumbersome. Kaelis and Korran also died.. Their great giants were also slowed down enough for the Lion to shoot them down with machine guns and explosives. While this was happening Vaelkeros and Arthron were dueling for the fate of the World, Revan was killed by Vaelkeros servant but was not allowed to die by the Messenger of Elos. Arthron beat back Vaelkeros who would not fathom a defeat... Vaelkeros was wounded but he was also a Demigod and would not be killed. Vaelkeros slit Arthrons throat, killing him. Vaelkeros vanished as he escaped the battle to slink back into the shadows with Cillian not to be seen again for years until his forces were ready.
