Tharic was released as part of a negotiation between Goldwyne and vigilanties from the castle lion who aided in helping the king and fought against the Goldwyns. The son of the leader of house Baratheon was there as well. They released Tharic and Bryce in exchange for a 5-year peace treaty between the two. They would ‘technically’ be the vassal’s of castle lion but swore fealty to the Dragons. Edric Goldwyne took control of Dragonia as the steward of the Caslte while the king was ‘dead’ and the unborn heir was not of age.
