The Wandering Apocalypse (Danger Strangers) are the main adventuring party traversing the Obscured Seas. Having originally formed in Wittering, it has since attracted other members during their travels. The name 'Danger Strangers' is the result of a long and difficult process, of which some members still do not agree to the outcome. At a lack of alternatives, they however begrudgingly accept it. The newer 'Wandering Apocalypse' is the result of some unfortunate events involving multiple villages in the land of Barovia.

History

The party were first brought together by Volothamp Geddarm in Wittering, as all were searching for a way to make some gold or get out into the world. He brought them in contact with a Vistani merchant, who asked of them to retrieve the deed to Old Bonegrinder from the home of his recently deceased family.
It is in these lands of Barovia that the first notions of a true party began to form, as the members had to escape the clutches of Strahd von Zarovich and the lands of Barovia themselves.
