As dark as the mother from which it was forcefully taken, it now spreads tendrils wherever carried. Its roots slowly set into the newfound grounds, drinking upon the crimson pool.

A Gulthias Staff is made of a branch of a Gulthias Tree. It is a spongy, dark wood that leaves visible red stains on what it touches. Holding the staff causes a light stinging sensation wherever it touches the skin. It's evil makes beasts visibly uncomfortable. If the staff is broken or burned, it releases a terrible, inhuman scream, causing all blights that can hear it to wither. Blights are not hostile to the wearer of the staff, and the wearer can give one-word commands to blights.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Tiny roots extend from this staff to both its wearer, as well as what it hits. Whatever the staff hits is drained of blood, an amount of which is equally given to the wearer. As it is part of a Gulthias Tree, Blights obey whoever carries it. Their mental capacity however is rather lacking, limiting the commands to one word.
