Arcadia

Once a contested territory of the much larger countries of Caeladonia and the Randgriz Empire, the people of the land realized they had more in common with each other than the rulers in far off castles. A bloody revolution was fought but the Caeladonian side of the war was crippled when the highest general of their military was executed by the Church of Pseales, and the Randgrizan front was rebuked in a naval battle at the Bay of Tears.   The Kingdom was led first by Queen Amiela Arcadia, who the kingdom and capital are named for. She married the noble Gregory Reynold and together they sired the first Arcadian royal family. This family line was secretly turned into Vampires in an attempt to harm the legitimacy of their rule, though they were able to keep the incident under wraps. The kingdom was led by the royal family and their court mage and advisor Adam Faera. They assisted in forming the ARCS Federation after seeing the dangerous abyss of corruption that the expedition to the edge of the world found.   Despite that the family still lost control of the kingdom in the year 201 when a massive coup orchestrated by Maximilian Caelos V and Thaler, killed Adam Faera and ousted the King, Queen, and young Prince as vampires and planned to execute all three. Though the prince Oliver Reynold was saved by Iman and Samuel Eshpard.   Maximilian Caelos V was able to drum up public support to commit these acts to a cheering public and many happily accepted him as their leader, though some, including Dacen Nothius saw through the ruse. He started a rebellion which was eventually able to work with a group hired to kill the traitor prince and reclaim the throne for his old friend Adam Faera. Dacen Nothius ruled the kingdom until the day he passed the Crystal Crown down to his adopted daughter Mia Nothius, who in turn passed it down to her son Albert Nothius
