Mayor Norin Bladewing

This gentlemanly pyrgona wears casual, but proper attire, his shirt and vest only mostly covering up the many arcane tattoos all along his arms, chest, and wings. His Black Kraken Arbiter's mark can be seen amongst his other tattoos on the front of his left wing. He often wears a soft smile, even in dire circumstances.

Norin Bladewing is the current mayor of Krakonia City , having earned the position after his resourcefulness during The Unification Wars as a commander in charge of defending the city, easily catching the eyes of the citizens, and even King Daerius Quintus of Krakonia himself.

Bladewing is a native to Requerm, being born before the events of The Dawn . Growing up in Rainbow Wing Den , Bladewing grew tired of the life of a smalltown dragon, eventually leaving after adventurers from Krakonia City discovered the village, introducing him to a life with a much larger scope than he was used to. He moved into the city, eager to learn more about the adventurers that had been running the place. He hit it off with them, and eventually earned a position as defender of the city during the early years of the city, before the Unification Wars were started. It was his role to report to The Harbingers of the Rising Dawn whenever anything dangerous approached the border, although often times he did not bother reporting the problem, taking care of it himself to save the Harbingers some time.

After the Unification Wars were declared, Bladewing volunteered to remain in Krakonia City to defend the place from any hostile threats, knowing full well that the city was going to be the center of the conflict brought about by war. He became the commander of the city's defenses, being the man to report to whenever there was any danger, including bandits, Great Beasts , or hostile enemies in the wars. Bladewing took an active role in developing the city's defenses, building the walls, weapons, and barricades in such a way that it would not interfere with citizens' lives as much as possible. This action earned the respect of the city's population, as they recognized the efforts Bladewing was going through to keep the people satisfied during wartime, despite that not being a priority of his job in the Krakonian Military.

After the Unification Wars ended, and The Kingdom of Krakonia was founded, the position of mayor for the city opened, as Daerius Quintus had become king instead. Bladewing first intended on becoming a Lieutenant General, or perhaps even General if he played his cards right, of the Army Branch in the newfound Kraken's Reach , but after many of Krakonia City's citizens petitioned The Diplomats Guild of Krakonia(DGK) , he instead found himself nominated for mayor. After some discussion with the king, as well as Ashley Windsong , Bladewing became the new mayor of Krakonia City, the first person to ever be elected under Krakonia's Positional Election System, a new system designed to assign mayors to settlements within the Kingdom of Krakonia based on the wishes of its people and the specific needs of the kingdom.

Mayor Bladewing worked closely with the Kingdom of Krakonia to build a plethora of new buildings to accommodate the new Guild System , Clan System , and military system. He did his best to ensure that his citizens' lives were not disrupted as much as possible during this time of growth, reimbursing and relocating individuals that had to move to make room for these new systems.

Now content with the changes made to his dear city, Mayor Norin Bladewing looks to the prosperity of his people, being the biggest champion of his city's needs and desires. He can often be found in the DGK, negotiating on behalf of his city to receive the funds for various infrastructure projects.
