The Diplomats Guild of Krakonia - DGK

Located within The Heart of the Kraken (Krakonia Castle) in the Core District of Krakonia City , the Diplomats Guild of Krakonia, DGK for short, is one of the many Guilds of Krakonia that were created after The Kingdom of Krakonia was founded. This is the home of most Krakonian diplomats, as one might surmise, but it is also responsible for message distribution, as well as settling domestic and foreign disputes of major import. Led by Ashley Windsong , the DGK is effectively the face of the kingdom, focusing on negotiations with the many layers of conflict brewing at any time. The DGK also has additional facilities throughout the kingdom, although none nearly as grand as the one in the capital.

The DGK's main mission is to settle disputes and negotiate on behalf of the kingdom before conflicts erupt into violence. As part of these efforts, the DGK has been known to team up with The Adventurers Guild of Krakonia(AGK) when diplomats need to be escorted to foreign lands, or even just down the road to another Krakonian settlement. These diplomats often speak with the voice of the king during negotiations, and as such, must be protected at all costs. This is perhaps the most relevant mission from the perspective of an adventurer. As this is a guild, often times these behests give priority to members of the DGK first before eventually outsourcing them to any licensed adventurer.

The DGK is also the owner of The Krakonia National Postal Service(KNPS) , the foundation for the kingdom's entire message delivery service. While the majority of messages are delivered via normal distributers (a fancy word for mailman), sometimes messages of great import must be delivered as safely and efficiently as possible, which can sometimes require the assistance of an adventurer, although usually the DGK is staffed with special delivery personnel that specialize in delivering these messages far faster and safer than most adventurers, so usually adventurers are only ever enlisted when these distributers are either all busy and/or incapable of completing a particularly unique series of tasks.

The DGK is also in charge of The Krakonia National Treasury(KNT) , the funds for the kingdom for social projects on a national scale. This essentially makes the DGK responsible for all the other guilds' finances, although each guild does manage to make enough money back from their own goods and services that they rarely need to take money from the DGK except when undergoing a special project. Guild/clan representatives, and sometimes individual citizens, are responsible for petitioning the DGK for the finances necessary to fund projects that are deemed vital for the prosperity of the kingdom.

The DGK also has another notable service known as the "Department of Dawn Recovery," or DDR for short. Since The Effects of the Dawn have not stopped, even to this day, an institution was created to help new victims of The Dawn find their place in society, giving a quick path for individuals looking to become citizens of the kingdom. Their role is to essentially guide citizens displaced by the Effects of the Dawn, explaining what Requerm is, gathering information on the victims' home planes of existence, and ultimately finding a place for these victims within the kingdom depending on their skillsets and motivations.
