The Krakonia National Treasury - KNT
The Krakonia National Treasury (KNT), managed by The Diplomats Guild of Krakonia - DGK , and owned by The Kingdom of Krakonia , is the official treasury of the kingdom itself, responsible for collecting national taxes and spending them appropriately. As such, the official dealings of the KNT are considered a priority for the entire kingdom, given a high level of security in the process. After all, money is the easiest way to measure a kingdom's prosperity, and is essential to keeping the peace the kingdom fought so hard to obtain.
Located in the DGK HQ, the KNT is protected by layers of security, with diplomats and economists given special permission to enter the premises. The heads of each Guild of Krakonia are also allowed entry, as they are allowed to take allocated resources from the KNT when necessary. Otherwise, the kingdom's coffers are off-limits without the permission of King Daerius Quintus of Krakonia , Ashley Windsong , the leader of the DGK, or Azura Flameheart , the leader of the KNT itself. Flameheart is particularly notorious for being difficult to negotiate with, her priority being the reservation of resources for the most important of projects.
The KNT is often at the center of controversy simply due to its existence as the entity responsible for the kingdom's expenses. Not a day goes by that some citizen of the kingdom isn't demanding that their tax dollars get spent more appropriately, despite the impossibility behind accommodating every last person's needs. It is for this reason that the KNT is affiliated with the DGK, as the DGK is the best guild equipped to handle the daily task of hearing the pleas of the kingdom's people, negotiating when necessary.
