Landgraviate of Fluencia

The Landgraviate of Fluencia is one of the oldest Blazennian polities which remains to this day, predating the Empire by over a hundred years. Fluencia has retained its general borders for all but a few of the past thousand years, and was the first nation to ever be recognized as Blazennian in 1100. This treaty pertained its integration as a march of Fraspika, which marked the end of its independence. However, by peacefully acceding to Fraspikan power, they maintained their dynasty and traditions, although they were Fremedhized (as part of the Reisian subgroup). Fluencia was occupied in its entirety by centaur forces of the Khanate of Clesentia from 1216 to 1225, although the royal family escaped and returned to Fluencia afterwards. Fluencia was later a key ally to Varimar I of Rhionian, which they bordered, and were one of the founders of the Empire, thus being elevated to a Landgraviate.
Over time, Fluencia lost some of their lands which would eventually come under the control of various other Blazennian constituents. The Burgherzone of Rhutmmer was also formed on former Fluencian lands. This slow erosion of control as pieces were pulled off to please lesser sons and cities increased their autonomy would lead to Fluencia supporting centralization efforts and eventually falling in league with Emperor Csömbor I. Preceding this, Fleuncia became one of the foremost Blazennian colonizers of Ifyrial, taking a large portion of the northern coast of the island as the colony Fellhold. Notably remaining with Fluencia during the time of troubles due to a lack of a major hinterland and a large military presence, Fellhold has remained a stronghold for the Orcish slave trade. Keeping control over Fellhold would lead to Alezar VIII denying any land to Fluencia in the Dennonian wars, as they were told that countries without overseas expansion had priority. This obviously angered Fleuncia, and they became disloyal.
Following their victory in the Blazennian Civil War, Fluencia recieved control over the southern half of the county of Lyrona. Besides this, they were relatively poorly compensated, as despite their positon as a naval powerhouse they were unable to prevent free movement of Loyalist forces since they had to keep Fellhold garrisoned. Their lack of fair compensation (according to themselves) has made Fluencia the most eager of the Kingdom of Mäzgyrazrfold's former allies to abandon them.
