The Green Eye
The Green Eye is a linear multi-staged set of interdimensional portals which link Magicians' End to The Green World, via a route through five gateways into deep verdant jungles, each one a little stranger and more dangerous than the last, crossing somehere along the line from evolutions into archetypes.
It was created by the mage and mystic Alsaibior Rettul over a period of twelve years between roughly 2372 APC and 2384 APC, but it remained unknown and undiscovered by the world at large until 2391 APC.
Purpose / Function
The Green Eye was built as a means of escape into the archetype of The Green World. Its creation went against the powerfully expressed precepts of the Society of Arcane Adepts which forbade the usage of portals and utterly condemned the creation of permanent ones, lest they destabalise the precarious position of Magicians' End within the Discontinuum but Alsaibior Rettul did not consider these rules applied to him and went ahead with the construction of the Green Eye, deep in the northern jungles of Punjuki, an enterprise that must have taken several years, although we cannot be certain of the exact dates.
