Mt. Defiance
Mt. Definace is an active volcano in the north of the continent of Punjuki on Magicians' End.
History
Mt. Defiance, formerly (and sometimes still occasionally) known as Mt. Coramandexia, acquired the popular name by which it is now known when a secret group of mages, who called themselves the Friends of the Trinity Moon, triggered an eruption, using powerful geomancy in the year 77 APC.
They were able to time the first explosive moments to strike a flying formation of dragons who had been cut off from the Dark Domains by the Locking of the Hylacon Gates and were terrorising northern Punjuki. The mountain killed the largest dragon and the famous event began a movement which would gradually restore human self confidence after the heavy defeats in the age of the Breach Wars. In this way, the first of the Fire Kingdoms was founded.
