Sonnring
The city of Sonnring, which was granted an independent charter in 2333 AF, began as a development to support orbital launch facilities for the rulers of Anoomenon at the beginning of the age known as the Long Northern Peace.
Seizing the opportunity of the loss of the Allport site at Green Atoll Station and realising that the limited capabilities of their own city would always be restricted due to its unfavourable lattitude they made the bold and brilliant move of financing an extensive, totally new, purpose built spaceport at Sonnring as early as 2210 AF. It was an instant success and it was responsible for Anoomenon's rise to become the pre-eminent power of the age.
