Session Report: Spying for Dummies

by Jon King

General Summary

So you would think that perhaps conducting espionage under the influence of alcohol would be a poor decision to make; and perhaps you would be correct but seemingly all has worked out wonderfully to begin our work with the Eels...   Morbitz behaved as Morbitz will with an exceptionally entertaining level of indiscretion and Ebbon was surprisingly efficient in his explorations and deductions. Both of their performances highlighted to me just how haphazard security in this facility appears to be. A perimeter fence broken in many places, cameras that leave glaring blind spots, guards that seem to only guard the main gate and enough detritus within the facility to allow an unprecedented level of uninhibited movement.   This of course begs a number of questions that bother me; the obvious of which is why? Why is the security so poor? Is it purely because there is nowhere for trespassers to escape too? Is it because the research within is of so little value that it does not warrant the resources or effort to secure? Or perhaps even that they WANT “indentured workers” to trespass. After all there are numerous examples written across history of lesser folk being used to further the march of science and technology.   We will have to see won’t we? You can colour me curious to answer at least one of two of these questions and I must admit this all has got the heart racing. The opportunity to “stick it to the man” as they say is truly invigorating.   Ebbon has a gun now, the Eels provided it to him, I have no doubt over his skill in its use. In truth it is this very fact that concerns me
