Season 6, Episode 3: "The Throne" Report
General Summary
With everyone in the Starwatch signing the tournament rolls, those who did not succeed in the Initiate Trials were forced to engage in the free-for-all-style opening bouts, which would determine the bracket for the rest of the Sunburst Festival. Gerald, Selene, Vivian, and Styx all passed with flying colors, while Ez and Aziz got visits from Kesil and Chandra respectively...
Both alluded to knowing their true identity as G.O.L.A.R.I.O.N. players, and revealed that they had rigged the tournament bracket against them, hoping to eliminate them early to avoid them gaining anymore fame and resources. While Chandra thought her matchup with Aziz a waste, Kesil seemed eager to test Ez's mettle, promising her a swift death if she so chose.
The Starwatch had little time to process the news before Esmerelda was swept away, and the arena began to rearrange itself, the main arena floating into the clouds, surrounded on all sides by flying stands. Magical screens broadcasted the event all over Absalom, and the first game was decreed to be Balloons -- pitting Ez and Kesil against one another in the skies. Unfortunately, a fair fight was never meant to be...
Only seconds into the fight, a barrier eerily similar to the one utilized at the Pact Summit cut the Starwatch and Kesil away from the rest of the proceedings, as several grotesque warriors teleported onto the platform. Swiftly recognized as the characters played by the Cult of the Elder Mythos, it became evident that the group was here to kill Kesil, and unbalance the power structure of the Swords of Absalom.
At the same time, on either side of the Void, two men made a choice to intervene. Mist pressed into the barrier surrounding Golarion, guided by the Dark Walkers, and entered Ez's mind. Kauma Gonjodonque -- enraged by the fate of Pulura and Unari Dama -- corrupted Aziz's use of the Archive Stone, and ripped his way into the digital world.
The ensuing fight was spread all over the arena grounds, but even with all of their aid, the Starwatch found themselves slowly overwhelmed. The character of the Gorgon, Daoshi, buried an eldritch blade in the Wizard King's heart, with all of Absalom as witness. He identified Kesil as the long lost Aroden, and promised to burn his kingdom to the ground. The "dead" god crumbled into dust, much tot he surprise and anger of Daoshi, and swore he would return.
Goblins erupted into the streets, climbing up from the sewers. Wither Wraiths assaulted the stands. A great mass pulled itself from the Vents, pounding a crater into the northern cliffs of the city.
The Tarrasque screamed, and chaos came to all of Avistan.

Notes
In the waves of combat I was in control of, I accidently skipped half of the table's turns three rounds in a row.
No one stopped me until someone almost died.
