A fragment of the "Mother", the ancient Nazeema, one of two gods that helped Rufus Geldenleaf create the universe. Tesin is married to an Elder Numan, Lord of Night and Keeper of the Caliginous Soul. History
As Lady and Lord of Night, Carrot and Tesin are bound in umbral matrimony, and share in each other's power. Although their personal relationship is still developing, they have been an effective couple, furthering both the cause of Night, and that of the Dream Team.

Deldros and Tesin were both in the same wave of trainees, and were direct disciples of Nawa Jin. Given Tesin's memory loss, it is unclear what their actual relationship was, but Deldros seemed incredibly upset that she no longer remembers him.

Ilvarti despises mortals, and will take any opportunity to do them harm. This emotion is at war with Tesin's role as the Queen of Night, backed by Carrot's authority. While Ilvarti would never harm his Queen, he does not hide his malice, and dreams of the day when her bond is broken.
