Season 1, Episode 3: "Closet Sausage" Report
General Summary
Mining Team 6 fell deep into the Dreamlands, and explored the violent childhood of Tesin Movahesh, mixed with what appeared to be a few years of peace with the Solarions of Idari. Unlike previous dreams, this one ended when an ethereal lady shrouded in grey robes lashed out, shocking the party out of their sleep.
Tesin was tight-mouthed about the ramifications of the dream, and the crew decided to drop it for the present. Soon after, the team was escorted to the Warden's, where they were to be rewarded for finding a Drift Stone on Varos. While at first things were quite calm, tensions soared when Balio realized that he'd been poisoned, and Chad saw a quest for Tesin to interrogate the Warden...
A quick brawl ensued, with Skiv using his sonic-based powers as interference, and Mining Team 6 barely holding on. The Warden was finally brought low when Lockette found that she could suddenly access her Menu Module, which auto-selected an "Overload" option, and emptied the clip of a guard's rifle into the Barathu's face.
Tesin displayed an advanced set of psychokinetic powers, seemingly digging into the Warden's mind, causing him to forget the events of the last minute, and discovering an interesting long-term memory... It seems that Ferro and his female counterpart are imprisoned somewhere on Varos, and are likely related in some way to the Gorgon.
Meanwhile, Isra found that she could use the shape of the previously-found key to move the portal in the Warden's closet, and send it further into the Sauna. After some arguing the party held a vote, and decided not to flee through the portal to Sauna Station. Instead, Isra moved the portal out of the closet, and Mining Team 6 bet everything on their acting chops.
They created the stage for their lies, simulating an electromagnetic charge that would have exploded the guard's grenades, and discharged their rifles. With the Warden unconscious and his bodyguards stunned, the other guards seemed to believe the crew's story, but sealed them up in their cell for now.
Upon arrival, Isra gasped, and went straight for the toilet. The portal had moved, and someone was sitting on top of it...
