Byssine Run
The Byssine Run, also known as the Divide, is a stable storm front in the roiling gases of Bretheda, powered by updrafts from the planet's lower layers. It is known its impressive wind speeds - which have never been recorded below 300 mph - and the polarized storm masses that fill the area with dozens of lightning strikes per second.
Although there are many young daredevils willing to take a dip into the Divide to impress their friends, few attempt to ride onto the run in its entirety, although it has recently been popularized through the interest of the Eoxian celebrity Zo!. Like the Halls of the Living, hundreds have perished attempting to win Zo!'s prizes, but this only makes the prize pool higher, and interest in the live streams have tripled in recent months.
Of note, the Divide claimed the majority of the crew onboard the Maelstrom during their flight from the Barathu, and was used again by Mining Team 6 to escape capture after the destruction of the Jasper.
