Brimstone Station

A small mining station on the surface of Varos, Brimstone Station is one of the few structures on the planet that is not owned by the Barathu. Instead, it is managed by a coalition of fire elementalist miners, who work with a number of corporate affiliates to mine the valuable gems from the planet’s crust, and study the many interesting igneous rock formations there.
Unlike Sauna Station, there are no methods of staving off the heat of the surrounding hellscape, as all of the station’s occupants are immune. Still, the beasts capable of living on Varos are no idle threat, and thus those who inhabit Brimstone Station are a serious, battle-hardened people.
Despite their lack of partnership, the miners do pay property taxes to the Barathu, and have an agreement to shoot Sauna escapees on sight.
