Manistrad Copperlocks is one of the most influential people in the fishing port of Saltmarsh. A young Hill Dwarf, Manistrad is owner and founder of the Copperlocks Mining Company and a member of the town council, despite only living in the town for the past three years.
Her appointment to the council has raised eyebrows, and many were outspoken in their objections, but she is a competent leader who knows that success breeds respect. She is not above a firm hand when required and prefers the direct approach to debate, which has not earned her many new friends.
Manistrad is known as a fair leader, and will give everyone a chance, but she does not suffer fools well.

Appearance and Mannerisms

Manistrad has long curly locks of fiery red hair, normally tied into a long plait with an iron ring. She is broad shouldered and well-muscled, and looks to have lived a life of physical exertion prior to becoming a successful businesswoman.
She likes to smoke a stone pipe which she fills with a pungent fungus mined from the fungus farms of Koldor's Hold.

Notable Achievements

As well as triking a rich vein of fortune with the Copperlocks Mine, Manistrad has risen to become a councilwoman of Saltmarsh, a role she takes very seriously.
In an earlier life she fought for a brigade of Hill Dwarves in the region of the Rel Crater, defending her folk from Orc raids.
