Copperlocks Mining Company

The Copperlocks Mining Company was founded only a few years ago by the Copperlocks Clan of Dwarves, following the discovery of silver veins in the Tercana Bluffs and the opening up of the Copperlocks Mine.
The Company is now quite a large employer and has it's main office in the town of Saltmarsh, some 60 miles south of the mine. The office was once a mansion owned by a local noble family, and several dwarf clerks work there during the day, logging deliveries at the docks to be transported to the mine and arranging for the processed ore to be loaded on trade ships bound for distant ports.
Manistrad Copperlocks is the founder and owner of the company. An iron-willed dwarven woman with a reputation as a competent leader, as well as a savvy miner with a knack for pulling off impossible jobs. Due to the importance of the new wealth generated by the mine she now occupies a place on the town council of Saltmarsh.
