House Nocturnus (Noc-turn-us)
Overview
Perhaps one of Patriarch Quintex Whiteshore's most.... questionable allies in the fight for the right to rule the The Kingdom of Venithyr, House Nocturnus is a House that deals mostly in the shadowy underbelly of the kingdom, thieves, assassins, and even beggers are the namesake and defining trait of their reputation. However, despite this, they are not seen as petty criminals, rather they are a force to be reckoned with, as dating back to their house founding they were annointed with the Pact of Cormyr which gives them a divine sanction to deal in death under the decree of the High King. Whatever the case, they have thrown their lot in with the Eastern Trade Company, leading to many to question where their true loyalties lie. Despite their alliance with Quintex Whiteshore, though, they do not seem to have contributed much to their cause, instead content to remain at their citadel of Bleak Rock.The Contract Has Been Signed, Sealed, and Delivered
