Ronminar Isles
Ronminar Isles is the set of islands located at the South Estisia.
Geography
Southern Island
The main island Ronminar is full of meadows, with two main rivers and two major ridges. One of the them covers the entire west from the coast with only large gap, whereas the east ridge, not as tall as the west, is rich in resources. Since it is a bit closer to the middle, it leave the eastern region with dryness and less rain.
The isles are only separated from the mainland by wide Irgian Channel; ships can easily travel to the isle within a day.
All of these features resu;t a perfect natural defense. Historically, several civilizations of both native and foreign has fought over the whole isle to be the only one standing for over the past centuries, which was only concluded hundred years ago.
Gulf of Arcwood
One of the significant features here is a wide but shallow gulf where Arcwood, the capital of such nation is settled. They built massive amount of piers around the coastline to not only hold plenty of foreign ships, but their own naval fleets as well. Since their military force depends on it, forts were built to ensure that the entrance is protected.
At the middle there is Inmida, a large hilly island. It has fewer inhabitant compare to the mainland and covered much in forest, making them look greeny and mystical. In fact, anyone who reaches the mountaintop can watch the beautiful landscape of the gulf all around without any distraction.
Long Rough Tip
Somehow, the furthest tip of the Ronminar was splited by some kind of natural force and formed an island known as Venta. The landmass across its length is very mountainous and yet so green of temperate forest. The criff at the westmost side are clear and has very sharp peak, then its height decreased to the eastmost which formed a pointy cape. In fact, a shape of Venta look like a broken tip of the pencil.
Fauna & Flora
As the island maintly has mediterranean climate, crops like barleys, wheats and olives can be seen around this region.
Natural Resources
The isles have an amount of all the basic material required to build the entire civilization such as iron and wood. Wood are very common especially on the south. It is the main construction material around the region.
Metals like irons and coppers can be found from east ridge in both side.
The Maritime Kingdom
The dominator of the isle. As a result of the late BVE, where five kingdoms and one colony was the main contenders. Kingdom of Arcwood successufully conquered all the states, and the isles was united under their rules in 110 BVE.
They are the master of the sea, with cutting-edge ships and rank systems. Their fleets patrol around the isles all year-round.
