Kingdom of Garol
Kingdom of Garol is the landlocked sovereign state located in the Gate Lowland of South Estisia. It succeeded the protectorate of the same name as a result of the Second Channel War. Once started as the Valonian immigrants settlement it becomes the largest Valonian nation after the Valonia Empire.
The kingdom extends to the western mountain, the Sarrim River at the south, and some part of Erkin, making them double or triple the territory. It shares borders with the empire by the Victory Tunnel on the west, and the Erkinia and Irgia provinces on the east and southeast border.
Structure
The government works similar to the Valonia Empire; The king from Theorum Dynasty is both the head of state and government, working together with two or three advisers of various professions appointed by election, on legislation. There is no supervisors but instead they have senators, usually the elders elected or descendants of the original inhabitants, that formed the executive institute called Garolian Senate. The Senators administrate essential institutes relating to education, health, religion, military, and industry.
Culture
The Garolian culture is also similar to the Valonian; A collective society driving by moneys but with Irg aspects like merchant traditions.
History
Founding
It all started with the first Valonians who defected the kingdom during the Sack of Valone by climbing across the mountain range between the Dirwen River and the Gate Lowland with the leadership of Garol, settled on the area that became the Nova Valone, later the Irisone, in 30 BVE. As a small immigrant towns, they'd been gaining supports from a local state, willing to aid the city with land, materials, and workers, but with the cost of being joined in the province they controlled, putting their people to oversee. That state was the Irgia Republic.
The news of Valone's Uprise of Purple Blast in 15 BVE sparked the public opinions to return home - Garol and his government chose to stay. In response, many Valonians abandoned the town. The remaining citizens, not wanting to be seen as a little town, continued to try their best thriving Irisone on their own. With diplomats and artisans in town, they had found out that the need of luxury furnitures and professional artisans/carpenters to hire with cheap prices were very high, and without a doubt went with it.
This economic desicion not only attracted rich Irgs but also non-stop tributes back to the republic. They became so strong it convinced the republic to grant Garolians a seat of the Irgian Council in 10 BVE; Garol accepted it but if only he keep his government, securing their autonomy. In the end, the Protectorate of Garol was formed.
Protectorate Era
Since then, the people from Irisone moved out to found more settlements that also thrived - like Garolisone in 2 BVE on the further point of all territories they had been gained. The protectorate became their own entity, able to make decisions with the republic. At the start of the Second Channel War, the kingdom supplied the republic with troops and foods.
After the bombing at the royal wedding in 50 VE however, their opinion changed. The Garol's son Garil decided to declare war and fight alongside the Valonians on the northern fronts. Garolians invaded and controlled territories further into the republic, including the neighboring protectorate. The war ended in 60 VE with the Treaty of Centralium, granting their true self-governing status they wished.
Post-Independence
The kingdom become the new alliance to the empire, growing exponentally and reached a few millions people just in a couple years, not including trades. The economic grew thanks to the Victory Tunnel and their dynasties' relationship bonded by the tragedy.
Demography and Population
Military
They uses the Gunner Legion as a main force, provided alongside the import of Purple Powder from the empire.
Religion
Since the formation, the majority of population believed in Luumism rather than the traditional Krin-Gion Pantheon.
Agriculture & Industry
Their main exports are undeniably wines and olives. The land they granted from the war cover many of important wineries. Tunwich Wine became more available in the state - making it less valuable in local. Nevertheless, some owners holding the best recipe still being considers the best and thus maintain a status of the royal gift.

Secret Affair
Little did the republic knew, The Garol had already formed the relationship with the Valonia Empire for decades. It was unsure which side came first but it went like this: The representative of Theorums met the Rarmons' company not only during the annual meeting on the republic pact's, but also the unofficial visiting. Each time with treasures and national secrets exchanged from both. One of the secret was dugging a tunnel - the tunnel that helped Valonian and Theorum met faster.
Their ultimate bond was supposed to complete with the royal wedding in the year 50 VE between the prince Prunos Rarmon and the princess Geluvisa Theorum, merging their bloodline. The proposal was made shortly before the whole place turn out as deadly as the prince's body.

I love that they kept their flag even though they gained independence.
