Waycabin Chapel View
Chapel view is seen by the passengers as 'the end of the line". But it is the start of another, even more profitable venture for Lydia Hartunian; smuggling. Chapel View is where the wares are in their care...and the police conveniently paid off.
Purpose / Function
To not only house the few guests who would rather stay the nights ashore or off-rail, but it is the warehouse wherein many of the foodstuffs and other supplies necessary for the TPLC™.
Design
Chapel View is purpose-built, and that purpose is to resupply the entire operation as efficiently as possible.
Entries
There are grand entrances and wonderful rooms, but there are also double doors, and large gates leading to shady back warehouses where big guys wearing black suits and chewing on toothpicks lounged against lamp posts flipping a silver coin.
Sensory & Appearance
One can almost hear the descending piano music when one approaches, and a massive full orchestra flourish when the door opens. Chapel View smells (very purposefully) like ancient incense. The faintest tinge of frankincense tickels the very back of your nose, almost behind your eyes, and a sense of wonder fills one for a moment.
Then the moment passes, and it's just the Waycabin© Chapel View again. I mean, it's nice...
Denizens
The full time staff here are wise asses who actually smuggle for a living, and sleep with as many people as possible on the side.
Alterations
Well, it started out as a chapel...
Architecture
The chapel? Impressive stonework that has stood the test of time. The rest? Impressive work, but brand new and untested. Many builders are skeptical of it working.
History
This former chapel to Oghma has been renovated. It is, now, called Chapel View. Which is odd, because it cannot see itself. And if one were to be looking at the stucture, one wouldn't be in the structure. Right?
Tourism
Tourism aplenty! Oh, and a thriving black market.
