Yausanti Daumashito
Weilder of Veracous
Active only for a short time during the later parts of the Fifth Century, AC, Yausanti had a distinguished career as a Kirsh'shaluush and paragon of the Soulmeliti people. He travelled far and wide across Tarien, though spent much of his time adventuring around the Inner Seas, seeking to grow both his own wisdom and skill with the blade while furthering the goals of a people still reeling from their losses in the Great War. His skill as a duelist was legendary and, like many sword-saints, he eschewed the use of armor during his career, instead focusing his energies of the speed and ferocity of his attacks.
While he began his career with similar values surrounding weapons imbued with arcane powers, he could not turn away from the call of Tyloma when she asked him to wield Veracous. True to his principles, he found the sword, which had been stolen by the Thieves' Guild of Karradone from its place in of honor in the Temple of Tyloma and liberated it, carrying it with him though rarely using the blade in combat. Eventually, Ver'sheli Roen'shai convinced the never-truly devout Yausanti that the blade belonged in the hands of her friend and the leader of the People's Army, Dyianr'ri Shien'shoam. Despite his reservations, Yausanti finally relented, handing over the blade in New Solarin and blessing the doomed army.
Yausanti himself never made it to the Battle of the Fallen Moon where the People's Army and their quest for vengeance fell. Instead, he suffered an ignoble death, crossing a river where he drowned attempting to save his comrade in arms, Zoe Eatsowntail.
