Daumashito Family
A once ancient Soulmeliti family, dating back to sometime in the founding of New Solarin, the Daumashito Family had a history of breeding warriors both fierce and brave. They served in the ranks of the forces that besieged Naz'Asketon and, over the millennia, have had several of their members join the esteemed ranks of the Kirsh'shaluush. Sadly, their skill with arms and zeal for conflict never manifested itself into financial or political shrewdness. Each generation found themselves much in the same situation as their predecessors: honorable but poor and with little political influence.
The most famous of the Duamashitos was the mighty sword-saint, Yausanti who lead a life of adventure, filling many scrolls with his brave deeds. The pinnacle of his achievements revolved around the fabled blade Veracous, that he wielded toward the end of his life as a paragon of Soulmeliti ideals. His cousin, alive around the same time, was more reflective of the clan's fortunes. A foot soldier during the Great Flight, Joei Daumashito later served in the People's Army and had the distinction of being the last of the clan, perishing during the Battle of the Fallen Moon.
