Vorkallic Pass
Site of one of the most famous battles of ancient Tarien, this mountain pass runs northeast to southwest in the Dreuthekon Mountains, the Perlinkook River cutting a deep gorge into most of its length, particularly in along its northern stretches before opening up into the plateau around the Drowned Lake and the entrance to the underground Ruins of Khardin, the ancient homeland of Khadra. The few flat areas around the river are littered with boulders - the remnants of cairns left over from the battle more than twenty-five centuries past. It is rumored that the spirits of the Khadra and Orks still haunt the Pass to this day, recreating the battle on summer evenings.
