Temple of Destiny
The people of the Malpighien Steppes have long held Pencit, their name for Landric, in high regard. In a land where the accident of ones birth destines the multitudes to lives of servitude, the landed lords have fostered a belief that their powers come from their gods - it is their destiny to rule.
Located across a wide boulevard from the Dono's Estate in Zennon, the Temple of Destiny, built from granite quarried in the distant Rheuthengage Mountains to the southeast and carted across the grasslands, is spectacle. Designed like in a crosshatch, like a tapestry on the loom, its passages wind back and forth from its entrance, taking supplicants on a journey through the nine stations of destiny until they arrive the silver and blue chambers at its center for worship.
Priests at the temple live in a warren of passages behind the worship hall. While outside of the order ever visit these chambers, rumors of their splendor have raised many eyebrows in the Confederacy. Their reputed wealth is said to come from the Delante Clan, who often appease the Weaver of Fate with gifts in exchange for their continued reign.
