Dono's Estate
Situated roughly in the center of Zennon, the Dono's estate is the largest villa in the sprawling city and the seat of power for the Delante Clan and the Dono. The main buildings of the estate are situated on a small hill, one of the highest points in the low-lying city. Surrounding the marbled columned main house and red-clay tiled out buildings are seemingly endless pastures, fenced in white and holding what may be the largest herd of horses on the Malpighien Steppes.
The house itself is of typical Zennonaize, two stories but wide and deep, with a large central courtyard. Colorful mosaics, depicting heroic deeds from the Delante's rather wide family tree decorate many of the hall ways that spread out into numerous corridors and wings, each the home to a different branch of cousins. In straight through the main hallway lies the public garden, full of low flowering trees and winding paths that hold a half dozen gazebos, the grandest of which being where the Dono holds his public audiences in fair weather. During the winter months, such events are held in the grand hall, a large rectangular outbuilding vaguely rambling a stable in its outward shape but filled with gaudy and often suggestive statues around a great hall used for feasting and dancing.
