Summary
When the Magic Implosion rocked the land, it left more questions than answers.
In Grimgate, formally known as the Worldgate, the outpour of magic flooded the portals. People were traveling to unknown and otherworldly locations.
Soon, unfamiliar creatures crept into the Claw Continent. Terrible forces followed as well.
To keep the town safe, the portals were destroyed. As the fires burned down the garden portal at the center of the Portal Masters' Suite, the Night of a Thousand Strokes painted the night's sky.
On the anniversaries that followed, disappearances of townsfolk shook Grimgate until only several dozen Grimmers remained.
Spread
As new geysers flooded the world with magic, the world plummeted into chaos. Initially, there was no space for news beyond your front door.
However, the Worldgate was the largest teleporation hub on the Claw Continent. In due time, the news of its destruction traveled like wildfire, all thanks to this children's song.
