After the former slaves were armed, the assault on the old mining colony was brief. The remaining Bloodsmith Raiders stood their ground but eventually fell to the combined forces of the freed slaves and Aw'akeen commandos. As the last shots are fired an eerie silence falls. Nothing moves for a long moment before a short mournful melody plays over the air. Crystal furred wolves withdraw from the high ground overlooking the base. On the landing pad, the wounded are treated and shuttles begin to transport the survivors to the Banana Republic for treatment. Meanwhile, a message arrives for Iwa during the evacuation. It tells a tale about her grandson, who was kidnapped along with offworlders to Kashyyyk. Scientists who were wanting to study newly discovered ruins in the northern mountains. Ruins older than the Old Republic or even the ancient Sith Empire. Her relatives know who took them: the Trandoshan pirate, Mogud Klegg. No one knows where he took them. They vanished along with the research notes and personal belongings. As the last transports are enroute to the Banana Republic, a small force of Bloodsmith Raider pirate ships appear from the far side of the gas giant Monorik. Within moments, they rocket for the forested moon of Monorik-12. In their wake a sleek, black probe droid slips out of hiding from a nearby starship wreck then jumps to hyperspace. Suddenly, all sensors go dark from a massive energy wave that blankets the debris field. When they recover, alarms sound! Reaver ships, large and small, made out of the wrecked starships power up and start to move like ants leaving an anthill. The Banana Republic is under attack from three sides! Just then, Cenvex Etowa sends a distress call, Reavers are trying to board his transport that has the last survivors of the Battle of Monorik-12 ...
